BC basketball homecoming queen crowned
Royalty in Bridge Creek's 2012 Basketball Homecoming were (front, from left) flower girl Bailee Johnson and crown bearer Hudson Kelley, (back) Omar Martinez, Taylor Mellinger, Ethan Heck, Brittany Cain, Andrew Dawkins, 2011 Queen Tayller Cowan, Earnest Williams, 2012 Queen Breaden Jantzern, Kailyn Mellinger, Chris Perraut, Jacob Mason, Autumn Gilchrest.
Breaden Jantzern was crowned 2012 Homecoming Queen during Bridge Creek's basketball homecoming coronation last week.

City to earn green for going green
The City of Tuttle will receive a check for $2,661.85 from Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) as an incentive for retrofitting several City facilities with high-efficiency lighting.

Tuttle graduate ranks seventh in nation
Bobby Williams wrestles Matt White from Oklahoma State University at the University of Central Missouri Open Tournament. He only gained near fall point as time ran out in the first period. Williams won by a 9-6 decision.
The national rankings for Division II wrestling were released on January 11 by the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association.

Tigers win consolation title at Purcell
Tuttle endured the toughest three-game stretch of their season and then bounced back with two victories in the Heart of Oklahoma Tournament last weekend.

The Tigers, now 7-8, beat Lone Grove, 46-43, Saturday night to claim the consolation title of the Purcell tournament. Tuttle head coach Paul Meuser tagged the victory over Lone Grove as the Tigers' best win of the season. - Lady Tigers fall to BC in consolation finals

Canadian Valley to offer new HVAC program
HVAC training will now be offered to the local community. Anyone in the Grady county area who has a career interest in the heating and air industry can begin to train as early as August this year.
