That’s the word Jennifer DeWitt of Tuttle uses to describe the last few days in her life. Around midnight on Wednesday, Jan. 20, the new adoptive mother and her 7-year-old Haitian daughter, Gardina, stepped off a plane at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City.

Fire claims Tuttle home

Fire consumed a home in the 900 block of County Street 2940 on Thursday, Dec. 10. Bridge Creek and Tuttle fire departments responded to the blaze just after 9 a.m. Before 10 a.m., the fire was under control, but the house and connected garage were destroyed.
