  • Tigers defeat Weatherford, 14-6

    Tanner Brannon scored two touchdowns and the Tuttle defense did not allow a point Friday, as the Tigers took an important district victory over Weatherford, 14-6, at Bill Hinkle Field.

  • Lady Tigers headed to state finals

     

    Let The Game begin.

    Annie Combs delivered a two-out double to score Shelby Carel and Taylor Gallagher in the sixth inning and lifted Tuttle past Berryhill, 2-0, Friday in the Class 4A semifinals.

    The win sets up a much-anticipated state championship game featuring Tuttle and its Tri-City rival, Blanchard. The two will face off at 11 a.m. Saturday at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium and determine the eventual champion of Oklahoma.

  • Lady Tigers beats Fort Gibson 7-0 in state quarterfinals

    Shae Coats struck out 14 batters and allowed only one hit in lifting Tuttle past Fort Gibson, 7-0, Thursday in the quarterfinal round of the Class 4A State Tournament.

  • Lady Tigers win first state tournament game
    Shae Coats struck out 14 batters and allowed only one hit in lifting Tuttle past Fort Gibson, 7-0, Thursday in the quarter finals of the Class 4A state tournament. A packed Field 4 at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium watched as Coats riddled Ft. Gibson and raised her record to 15 and 2 on the season. Tuttle rose to 33-4 on the season and will play the winner of Berryhill vs. Harrah at 2 p.m. Friday on Field 4 at the ASA complex.

  • Tigers suffer first loss of season

    Junior Gage Wimer kicked a 20-yard field goal with 4.9 seconds left in the game to give Blanchard a 9-6 upset victory over Tuttle here at Bill Hinkle Field Friday.

  • DSC06239.jpg Farewell to a Hero Funeral services for Sgt. Mycal Prince were held at The Bridge Assembly of God Church in Mustang on Monday afternoon. Hundreds of grateful Americans lined the streets between the church and the cemetery in Bradley where Prince, who died in combat, was laid to rest. Prince and his family and lived in Minco since 2009, where he was a police officer. The Tuttle Times' Don Snart went to Mustang, Union City and Minco to photograph some of the people that lined the roads, holding flags and saying goodbye to a hero.

    DJ Boles rushed for 195 yards and two touchdowns and Tuttle pitched its second shutout of the season Friday, beating injury-depleted Bridge Creek 34-0.
