Tuttle group to perform at Feb. 6 Bluegrass concert

The Graystone Bluegrass Revival of Tuttle is one of the featured bands at the Oklahoma Bluegrass Club’s concert to be held Saturday, Feb. 6 at Kerr Middle School, 2300 S. Linda Lane in Del City. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and also features Daisy Street Station, of Tahlequah and the Hunt Family of Orlando, Okla.

The Oklahoma Bluegrass Club was the first Bluegrass Club formed in the State of Oklahoma. The Club held it’s first concert in December of 1969 and since that time sponsors monthly indoor Bluegrass Music concerts, with the assistance of the Oklahoma Arts Council, the first Saturday of each month October through April. The Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the education of Bluegrass Music and entertainment. Admission is $6 for adults, OBC members $5, ages 14 – 16 years is $1.50 and under 14 years is free.

Bluegrass Music is noted for its acoustical sound made with non-electric instruments such as fiddles, guitars, banjos, mandolins, dobros, and up right bass.
