Larry Willyard

Larry Don Willyard passed away on Oct. 27, 2009 at the age of 50 years.

He was born May 26, 1959 in Pampa, Texas to Carl Wayne and Joann Graham Willyard.

Larry grew up in Midwest City and graduated from Carl Albert High School. Larry was an Eagle Scout. He married Donna Faye Moore on June 26, 1982 in Oklahoma City.

Larry was a land surveyor working on many projects he was proud of and he was a member of the Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors and retired in 2001. He was very proud of his family and volunteered many hours in various community activities. He worked with the Girl Scouts for more than 12 years.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Joann Graham Willyard and his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Faye Moore.

Larry is survived by his wife Donna and their beautiful daughter Camille Deanne of the home, his father Carl Wayne Willyard and Mary Austin and one brother Rodney “Bo” Willyard, sister-in-law Cindy, niece Kate Willyard and nephews Seth and Tai Willyard, brother-in-laws David Maxon and Barry Maxon, nephew Barry Don Maxon and nieces Melissa, Amanda and Elizabeth Maxon and Donna’s parents Jerry and Donnie Moore.

Larry will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service was held at the Tuttle Christian Church on Saturday, Oct. 31, with Todd Moss officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Dean McGee Eye Institute.
