Thomas Cleghorn

Thomas Carl Cleghorn, 76, of Texarkana, Texas, former Chickasha resident, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, at his home.

He was born June 4, 1933, in Allene, Ark. He was a retired manager for E-Z Mart Corporation, and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Texarkana, Texas. He was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Cleghorn of the home in Texarkana, six sons, Larry Cleghorn of Chickasha, Jerry Cleghorn of Wellston, Dewayne Cleghorn of Chickasha, Keith Cleghorn of Newcastle, Shawn McEntire and Keven McEntire of Texarkana, three daughters Donna Cecil of Tuttle, Dianna Ferrell of Wellston, and Tina Gauldin of Ashdown, three brothers, Odean Cleghorn, Lewis Cleghorn, and Rodney Cleghorn, one sister, Floydene Rush, 18 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and other relatives. 

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at Texarkana Funeral Home Chapel, Texas, with the Rev. Hal Haltom officiating, with burial in Zion Hill Cemetery, Linden, Texas.  

Stacey Lytain Beesley

Services for Stacey Lytain Beesley, 24 former Minco resident, were held Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at the First Baptist Church in Minco. 

She was born Dec. 27, 1984 in Tishomingo, and died Monday, Dec. 21, 2009 at her home in Midwest City.

She moved to Minco in 1992 where she was a member of the Minco United Methodist Church. She graduated Minco High School in 2003 attended South Western State University for one semester. She moved to Midwest City on July 4, 2009, where she worked as a lease manager for the Willow Creek Apartments.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather Walter Cross, grandmother Marilyn Ashley and nephew Tyler Johnson.

She is survived by her mother and father Gerald and Rosie Ashley of Minco, grandparents Jerry and Elzada McCathern of Minco, grandfather Gerald Ashley of Oklahoma City, brother and sister-in-law Herbert and Susan Beesley of Tuttle, sisters and brothers-in-law Lacy and Jimmy Jenkins of Minco, Casey and Matt Ruthardt of Minco, nieces Jylian Jenkins, Lainie Halstead and Ella Beesley, and nephews Tucker and Tasher Ruthardt, Jimmy Jenkins and Tucker Halstead.

Officiating were Rev. Mark Foster and Rev. Dave Conrad, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.
