Oscar Knippelmier
Services for Oscar Henry Knippelmier, 93 of Minco were held Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at the Minco United Methodist Church.
Oscar Henry Knippelmier was born July 1, 1916 in Minco to Henry and Pauline (Doebeli) Knippelmier. He died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009 at his home in Minco.
He was born and raised in the Minco area and graduated from Minco High School in 1932.
He served in the United States Navy during World war II.
He married Val M. Vydrzal on April 27, 1940 in Houston, Texas.
He was a member of the El Reno American Legion Post #34 and retired from ARCO Refinery in Houston after 35 years service as a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Pauline Knippelmier, brother Walter Knippelmier and great granddaughter Ava Knippelmier.

1-son and daughter-in-law- Gary and Betty Knippelmier of Austin, TX
2-daughters and a son-in-law- Sylvia and Al Wolk of Huffman, TD and Phyllis Britt of Minco
1-sister and brother-in-law- Delores and Paul Kitts of Bakersfield, CA
1-sister-in-law- Esther Knippelmier of Johnson, Neb.
7-grandchildren- Steven Travis, Greg Wolk, David and Tracy Knippelmier, Jeff Wolk, Janet Knippelmier, Jake and Lisa Britt, and Scott and Grace Wolk
1-great grandson-Nathan Britt
